Delivering a New Look-and-Feel for Ovarro Data Logging Equipment User Manuals

This document re-design for Ovarro's user manuals and quick reference guides was required for a new data logger to coincide with the company's rebrand. The logger utilises 4G, IoT and Bluetooth for remote communication of water flow and pressure sensor data from water pipes and junctions, enabling remote monitoring and quick response times.

This user manual produced by AAM Design, utilises Microsoft Word's tables feature to position carefully photo-edited phone screen diagrams alongside their descriptions.

A Quantum Leap for Vislink Technologies Outside Broadcast Equipment Operation Manuals

This manual for a new product - the Quantum Receiver - required an understanding of digital broadcasting equipment and a concise explanation of the operational features for installation/operation engineers. The receiver reduces the equipment needed (and cost) for TV coverage of events such as the Football World Cup and the Olympics.

This Microsoft Word document incorporates numerous images of screens and connectors, carefully cropped and interwoven with the relevant descriptions.

A Step Forward for Blatchford Prosthetic Limb Instructions

Numerous instruction documents had to be updated and rebranded, and prepared for translation into multiple languages, for Blatchford's prosthetic limb parts in accordance with new guidance from the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) in 2021.

A six-month contract with a strict deadline to ensure the company could continue to sell their products world-wide. Over 50 Adobe InDesign documents were created to support a wide range of parts for multiple products.

In-House Training for CooperVision's Young Engineers

Engineering graduates at CooperVision - a contact lens manufacturer - required training on how and why the company does what it does. By having such a training programme, engineers can get up-to-speed with what goes on in different departments and on different manufacturing lines, as well as studying appropriate background knowledge, so they can quickly grasp essential knowledge and skills which would otherwise take years to acquire.

Over 50 training modules, each a separate Microsoft Word document, were designed and produced by AAM Design, on different areas of work and expertise within the company.

A Technical Service Manual for Sony's Networked Content Management Server (HDXchange)

A service manual for engineers to instruct them in how to diagnose faults, replace parts and maintain the HDXchange server, a client-server workgroup system for importing, exporting and editing audio visual (AV) media for using on playout devices.

A FrameMaker document, designed in the Sony style and written/illustrated by AAM Design, which details the features and functions required for servicing and maintaining the server.
